Main event of the General Motors "Highway and Horizons" pavillon at the 1939-40 New York World's Fair, built in collaboration with Rohm & Haas, a chemical company that had recently developed Plexiglass. This is the first full-sized transparent car ever made in the USA.
Sold at the RM Auctions’ St. John’s auction in Michigan on July 30, 2011 for $308,000.
